Of all the trends we’ve seen on the runway, it’s pretty clear that pleats have made their way into spring-fashion. I realize that pleated skirts can seem intimidating to wear, as well as a little too preppy, professional, and maybe even old-fashioned. Thankfully, the fabric-creasing technique has evolved beyond the days of plaid schoolgirl skirts. This item can be worn in many, many ways. From refined lengths and fluid fabrics to eye-catching metallics – THESE SKIRTS ARE FUN!

Flirty and so much fun to dress up and down!

I love the fabric and the red color of this Drykorn skirt. This is an timeless piece you can wear for all seasons. I’m wearing a beige  & Other Stories cashmere pullover for a more casual and cool look. As you can see, I’m already getting in the spring vibe with this skirt. To create a bolder look with extra dimension, I added a TWINSET black leather jacket.

For an informal occasion, pairing it with a well fitted (crop) top and flats or sneakers will make the look very sophisticated casual. I also like to wear a pleated skirt with a blouse, turtle neck top, blazer for a more elegant look. For shoes, I personally love wearing high heels or length boots with this skirt. To be honest, the options are endless. All you really need is a good pleated skirt and you’re ready to go!

Look:  Drykorn skirt, & Other Stories pullover, TWINSET black leather jacket, Patrizia Pepe high heels &  backbag.
